Bhubaneswar: NTPC has successfully completed trial operation 2nd unit of 800 MW of its super critical thermal power plant at Darlipali in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district.
Trial operation involves running the unit for seventy – two hours continuously at full load to demonstrate the capability of the unit. The 72- hour run of the unit completed on Wednesday.
NTPC Darlipali, Business Unit Head A K Samaiyar appreciated the efforts of employees and all stakeholders on the astounding achievement.
Installed capacity of NTPC Darlipali, Sundargarh is now 1600MW.
With this, the total installed capacity of NTPC group has become 66875 MW respectively .
