Bhubaneswar: Olympian sprinter Dutee Chand has threatened to quit Odisha if not get protection from her tormentors. She has filed Rs 5 crore defamation case as as well as criminal cases against her tormentors.
Dutee has alleged that a web channel journalist Sudhansu Sekher Rout and RTI activist Pradip Pradhan have been running malign campaign against her. She said that she could not concentrate in her 200 Mt event in the Tokyo Olympics as the web channel of Rout dumped malign contents.
Dutee has said that she has filed police complaint against her tormentors. She has also filed a defamation case of Rs5 crore against Rout and Pradhan.
The Olympian sprinter has threatened to quit Odisha if she won’t get justice. She has said that she has got offer from Telengana and Haryana government.
