Bhubaneswar: Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik Sunday marked the Teacher’s Day by handing out appointment letters to 443 newly recruited teachers in Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya.

The chief minister also laid the foundation stone for the Rs 100 crore Adarsha Vidyalaya Centre of Excellence in the outskirt of the Bhubaneswar city.

Patnaik, speaking on the occasion, gave a 10-point guidelines for the students and teachers. He said that the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya would produce bright students.

Odisha minister for school & mass education Sameer Das, Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Organisation chairman Upedra Tripathy, chief secretary Suresh Mohapatra, development commissioner PK Jena, and school & mass education principal secretary Satyabrata Sahu were present on the occasion.

CM secretary (5T) VK Pandian also addressed the students and teachers.
