Rourkela: Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik Tuesday played the emotional card stating that the Sundergarh district which has thrown up hockey Olympians for the country deserves an AIIMS hospital.
Patnaik, who is here on a two day visit to Sundergarh from today, said that he would take up the AIIMS establishment matter with the Centre.
Patnaik launched projects worth Rs580 crore and introduced Biju Swarthy Smart Card in this Western district today.
