New Delhi: The Election Commission of India has announced the dates for elections for five State Assemblies. With the announcement of poll dates model code of conduct has come into force in the five poll bound States.
The chief election commissioner told media persons that while voting will be held in 7 phases in Uttar Pradesh, two phases in Manipur and single phase in Punjab, Goa and Uttarakhand between February 10 to March 7. Counting for voting will be held on March. 10, 2022.
According to the chief election commission, voting will be held in UP on February 10, 14,20,23,27 and March 3 and 7, in Punjab, Goa and Uttarakhand on February 14 and in Manipur on February 27 and March 3.
