Bhubaneswar:Nalco chairman-cum-managing director, Sridhar Patra said confederation has always worked closely with organization to empanel creditable and influential NGOs to chostsreate a conducive atmosphere to support industrial activities at remote districts. Progress is always through healthy partnership, he added.

The Nalco CMD was delivering the inaugural address at the webinar organised by the CII Odisha, here recently. The topic was ‘Corporate Social Responsibility: Progress Through a dialogue with stakeholders to sketch out a framework for inclusive growth of the State’.

JSPL Group Head-Odisha Corporate Communications and convener, CII Odisha CSR and Skills Pannel Prashant Hota also.addressed the inaugural session.

Group Head CSR, Education and Sustainability , Head-Odisha Corporate Communications , Jindal Steel & Power Limited other speakers in the inaugural session were Mr Nixon Joseph, Ex-President & Chief Operating Officer, SBI Foundation & CEO, CLT India and Dr Akshay Rout , Board of Directors, LIC Housing Finance, Senior Advisor (SUWASI), KPMG, Former DG, Swachh Bharat Mission and Former DG, Election Commission of India .

The session inaugural session was followed by panel discussion moderated by Akshay Sahoo
special correspondent, Deccan Chronicle, the panel construed representations by o CSR heads from Indian Oil corporation Limited, Vedanta Limited, JK Paper Mills Limited, JSW steel Limited, Paradeep Phosphates Limited and NALCO. Various discussion were done to create robust ecosystem through Public private partnership and strategic engagement of the stakeholders to benefit the destitute communities and people from bottom of the pyramid. Even the panel suggested to prepare a recommendation paper.
