Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government Friday posted Sanjay Kumar Singh, an IAS officer of 1997 batch as the new principal secretary of information & public relation department.
Singh was Commissioner, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation with addl. ch. of Vice-Chairman, Bhubaneswar Development Authority, CEO, Bhubaneswar Smart City Ltd. and M.D., CRUT.
He is allowed to remain in additional charge of Vice-Chairman, Bhubaneswar Development Authority and CMD, Bhubaneswar Smart City Ltd. in addition to his own duties.
The government has posted 2008 batch IAS officer Yamini Sarangi, Managing Director, Odisha State Medical Corporation Ltd. with addl. ch. of Commissioner, Food Safety, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, as Officer on Special Duty (OSD), G A. & P G Deptt
The post of Officer on Special Duty is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of additional secretary to government provided in the IAS cadre of the State.
