Bhubaneswar: Dr Sandip K Mishra who is a senior cancer biology scientist, working in DBT- Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar, presented his discovery of medicines for breast cancer which is going into human trail (funded by DBT Birac, GOI), bagged the UAS INDOA B J Kennedy Distinguisged Research Excellence Award 2022 at Dubai, last week.
The Award is being conferred on him in recognition of consistent superior performance in molecular oncology.
Dr. Mishra along the advisor to Dubai government inaugurated an international conference on material science, chemistry and bio-science, held at Dubai. Dr. Mishra was the guest of honour.and key note speaker of the inaugural session of the conference. He along with the advisor to the Dubai government inaugurated the conference.
Dr. Mishra, in his keynote address, presented his discovery of medicines for breast cancer which is going into human trail.
Dr. Mishra, a lifetime advisory member of Singapore academic of sciences and a member of American Association for Cancer Research, has been acknowledged across the world for his discovery of tumor suppressor gene in breast cancer. His another discovery of medicine against breast cancer has already been published in a very high impact Nature group of Journal. According to the breast cancer medicine is soon going into human trail. He acknowledges the role of union ministry of science and technology and department of biotechnology, Julyfor the support to develop the medicines for breast cancer and his committed to explore further to make cancer a history in the life of mankind.
