Bhubaneswar: The mega steel project of Arcelor Mittal and Nippon Steel of Japan (AM/NS India) in Odisha has been fast tracked
Odisha chief minister’s 5T secretary VK Pandian Thursday directed the district administration and the project executive to fast track the project work. Pandian visited the project site in Mahakalpada area of Kendrapada and reviewed the pre-preparation of the project.
Recently, chief minister Naveen Patnaik accompanied by his 5T secretary Pandian had visited the steel plant of Nippon Steel in Japan.
AM/NS India is proposing to set up riverine port based mega steel plant of 7 million tonnes per annum with an investment of Rs 38,000 crore.
