Bhubaneswar : Eminent dancer and exponent of classical Sattriya dance Anita Sharma is to get the prestigious Mahari Award 2024. The Award will be conferred on her at the closing ceremony of three-day Guru Pankaj Utsav, here at Rabindra Mandap on March 19, said director of the Utsav Guru Sarat Das.
The three-day festival will feature classical dance exponents Arupa Patnaik, Akankhya Das, T Tulika Reddy, Tamanna Patra, Surajit Som, Ruparani Das Borah, Ratnapadma Aurosmita, Sriradha Paul, Priyanka Jena, Arya Nande, Saswat Joshi, Dibyadarshini Supakar, Swaralipi Roy and Swayam Pragyan Sahoo. Odissi vocal will be presented by Guru Simanchal Das and Guru Niranjan Behera and Odissi Mardal will be played by Guru Bhagaban Behera.
