Keonjhar ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India), a leading steelmaker, today launched a Basic Life Support Ambulance service at Dubuna, Keonjhar to enhance healthcare services provided to the nearby communities and villages. Shri Jaiwardhan Paroha, Plant Head, Beneficiation Plant, Dubuna, AM/NS India officially flagged off the new ambulance in the presence of other senior executives of AM/NS India.
The new service aims to ensure that critical patients from the surrounding villages can be promptly transported to the nearest hospitals for better treatment. The ambulance will be available round the clock and free of cost, providing essential medical transport support to anyone in need in the nearby community.
AM/NS India is committed to serving the local community and providing the best of healthcare services. This new ambulance service will address the immediate needs of patients and help save precious lives. Other than healthcare services, as part of its CSR initiatives in Keonjhar, AM/NS India has also provided access to drinking water to 5,000+ households, built community halls, provided scholarship to girl students and empowered local youth through digital skilling centres.
