Bhubaneswar : Central sector National Aluminium Company Ltd. (Nalco) has posted a net profit of Rs 601 crore from a topline of Rs 2856 crore in the first quarter of current fiscal. The Company’s net profit has increased by 72% over Rs 349 crore net posted in the same period last fiscal.

Declaring the Comapny’s financial result for April -June quarter of FY 25, here on Monday, Nalco CMD Sridhar Patra has said that operationalisation of captive coal mines Utkal-D, rise in metal prices in international market, condusive environment in domestic market, cost effective production measures and better financial management played key roles in accomplishing a higher bottomline.

Nalco has declared a final dividend of Rs 2 per share for the fiscal 20023-24.
