Bhubaneswar: XIM University, Bhubaneswar, celebrated Xamboree 4.0, Eastern India’s largest cultural fest, an extraordinary celebration of talent, creativity, and competition, on October 26 and 27 in its campus about 20 km away from here. Organised by Student Executive Council and Student Activity Council, in collaboration with XSTEC, Xamboree drew in participants from various departments of undergraduates and postgraduates studies. Also, the event hosted students from various local colleges who participated in several events.
Xamboree 4.0 unfolded over two thrilling days of diverse events and competitions, captivating participants with both cultural and academic challenges. Day 7, held on October 26, featured a wide range of events, including Pehchan 2.0, a showcase of talent and identity; XIMUN 5.0, the univer sity’s dynamic Model United Nations; and Brand X-periment, an innovation-driven branding contest. Attendees also enjoyed X Shots, a photography competition, and Xan Sansad, an engaging parliamentary debate Competitive spirits soared during sports events, Spardha for strategic minds, and Footloose for dance enthusiasts. Niti Vision, a policy competition, and a life-sized version of Monopoly further enriched the day.
Day 2 on October 27 continued the excitement with returning highlights like Pehchan 2.0 and XTMUN 5.0 along with creative events such as Pratiroopan, an innovative design challenge; X Splash, a vibrant at competition; and Dhwani, a musicals showcase. E- sports fans competed in BGMI and FIFA, while fashion and creativity converged at the Runway Roll Participants tested their dance abilities in Battle lt Out.
