Bhubaneswar: Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) inked an MoU with Odisha Assembly of Small and Medium Enterprises (OASME), recently, for capacity building.

As a part of the MoU, OASME shall facilitate forwarding applications for financial assistance to SIDBI. Besides facilitating finance to OASME, SIDBI will provide capex support for the office, handholding support , and other support like knowledge dissemination workshops and also assistance for rating, accreditation or certification etc.

During the event, SIDBI GM said Pramod Kumar Vijayvargia said that this MoU is pivotal in bolstering the Association’s capacity, providing easy access to credit, fostering the growth and development of MSMEs and assisting SIDBI in generating business leads.

OASME secretary general Satwik Swain said that this collaboration will strengthen the potential of the members of this association through various intervention. MOU shall remain in force for a period of 2 years.

Among the dignitaries Bibhuti Bhusan Dash, IOFS, Special Secretary, MSME Department, Govt. of Odisha, P.K. Gupta, IEDS, Jt. Director & HOO, MSME DFO, Cuttack, Ms. Anita Patnaik, General Manager, FIDD, RBI, Dr. Glory Swarupa, Director General, ni-msme, and other foreign delegates from South Korea, Indonesia, Bangadesh and Kenya and many women entrepreneurs of the State were present.
