Bhubaneswar:Coffee Board chairman MJ Dinesh Wednesday met Odisha deputy chief minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and discussed on various issues. On this occasion, principal secretary to the agriculture Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee was present.

Coffee of various flavors is currently being grown in natural surroundings in Koraput district of Odisha. It is highly appreciated by the people for its taste and quality and now Odisha’s Koraput coffee has found a place in the global coffee map. Not only Koraput, coffee is now also being grown in Rayagada, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Kandhamal and Keonjhar.

Coffee Board Chairman Dinesh discussed with Deputy CM Singhdeo about the steps being taken to increase the market connectivity and production of these variety of coffee.

Singhdeo emphasized on increasing the production of coffee, developing infrastructure and opening more outlets.

The chairman presented a book on coffee to Singhdeo.During this meeting, Coffee Board joint director Shivakumar Swamy, Odisha Nodal Officer Upendra Kumar Shah, Coffee Board Member Manoj Dubey, P.R.M. Ravichandran were present.
