Bhubaneswar : Odisha goverenment’s Planning & Covergence department on Wednesday has chalked out a draft Annual Action Plan for 2025-26 for local area and regional development schemes like MP LAD, MLA LAD, Kandhmal-Gajapati Development Yojana and DMF Fund.
The development commissioner Anu Garg reviewed the draft plan in the presence of senior officers of P&C Department. She stressed on implementation of programmes and schemes without any delay. She also emphasised on proper utilization of DMF Fund.
Ms. Garg while advising how to chalk out the Annual Action Plan and strategies for making the governance process more effective, directed the officers to focus on simple, delayered and expeditious delivery of services.
In the meeting, the timelines for preparation of Annual Action Plan for FY 2025-26 in respect of Local area and Regional Development Schemes like MPLADS, MLALADS, KBK Bikas Yojana, Kandhamal O’ Gajapati Bikas Yojana of the Department were discussed. It was also agreed to make the monitoring mechanism for implementation of DMF robust and strengthen its governance system.
The officers have been deliberated on identifying strategies to overhaul existing processes, eliminating redundancies, simplifying governance thereby enhancing efficiency and effective governance.
The outcomes of the meeting are expected to pave the way for significant improvements in the state’s planning machinery, leading to enhanced convergence
