Puri: Sree Jaganath Temple Administration (SJTA) chief administrator Dr. Arabainda Padhee Sunday discussed with the visiting ASI director general Dr. Yaduvendra Singh Rawat regarding overall conservation and restoration of the temple and also providing certain facilities to the devotees. Padhee urged ASI DG for conservation, restoration and repair of Garbha Gruha and Ratna Bhandar during the Rath Yatra. He also pressed for provision of lightening arrestor for protection of Bimala, Mahalaxmi, Bhubaneswari, Adi Nrusingha and Surya Temple.
The chief administrator proposed that provision of air conditioning system in Nata Mandap.
The DG ASI Rawat was accompanied by DDG (Conservation) Janhwij Sharma, Director (Conservation) Bhima Azmira, Director (Science ) Manoj Bhatnagar, and Regional Director Dr. Dilip Kumari. SJTA Administrator Development Debabrata Sahoo and OSD Works Ashis Subudhi were present with the chief administrator Padhee in this high level discussion.
