Berhampur: TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) has opened a new Customer Relation Centre (CRC) at Umerkote in Nabarangpur district, strengthening its efforts to bring power services closer to consumers. The centre was inaugurated by Amit Kumar Garg, CEO, TPSODL, in the presence of senior officials of the company.
The newly established CRC will serve around 1.2 lakh consumers across Umerkote municipality and the blocks of Umerkote, Jharigan, Raighar and Chandahandi. Spread over a wide service area of nearly 2,500 square kilometres, the centre is designed to ensure faster, more accessible and consumer-friendly services. It houses two billing counters and three dedicated grievance redressal counters to efficiently address consumer needs.The facility will offer key services such as bill payment, grievance registration, support for digital transactions, and information related to electricity supply and consumer services.
With this new centre, consumers in the region will no longer need to travel long distances for basic electricity-related services, significantly improving convenience and response time.

The Umerkote CRC becomes the eighth such centre established by TPSODL in Southern Odisha. Other centres are operational in Berhampur, Aska, Rayagada, Hinjilicut, Jeypore, Paralakhemundi and Malkangiri, collectively contributing to enhanced consumer satisfaction and stronger service outreach across the region.
