Berhampur: TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) has been conferred the Rural Power Distribution Performance Beacon Award at the prestigious Times Business Awards, organised by The Times of India group in Bhubaneswar. The honour was presented by the Union Minister for Education, Dharmendra Pradhan, and received by Amit Kumar Garg, CEO, TPSODL.
The award recognises TPSODL’s consistent and impactful efforts in strengthening rural power distribution across Southern Odisha. TPSODL serves eight districts of Southern Odisha—Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Kandhamal and Boudh—many of which are tribal-dominated and marked by difficult terrain, dense forests and widely scattered habitations.
