Bhubaneswar : An Art Workshop on the theme of Planet & Plant, organised in association with Happy Axis Foundation, was held here on the occasion of Raja Festival.
Over 50 participants engaged in pottery painting and plantations. In the workshop, the participants each were given a earthen pot and and a saplling to paint the pot according to their imagination and plant saplling there in and take the plant to their home.
This was aimed at a beautiful combination of sensitivity towards the natutre, creativity and peace of mind.
While the locals were encouraged to participate in the workshop, the earthen pots were sourced from the traditional potters of Kumbhar Sahi of Cuttack and the sapllings were prepared by Ajit Art & Crafts.
According to organisers, art, soil and plant bring in mental peace and positivity.
The organisers have announced that a workshop with the theme of Jagannath Culture would be conducted on the occasion of Rath Jatra. The aim would be to connect the GenZ with the art and culture of Odisha.
