Bhubaneswar : The Institute of Company Secretaries of India inaugurated its 54thNational Convention of Company Secretaries, themed “NextGen CS – Catalyst of Growth & Guardian of Governance,” here on Saturday.
The 3-day annual congregation of Company Secretariesis a platform for dialogues between regulators, industry leaders, professionals, and other stakeholders, providing an opportunity for thoughtful deliberations and engaging discussions.
On this occasion, the ICSI released variouspublications and announced various initiatives:• Souvenir• ICSI Bi-annual Progress Report 2026• Constitution of ICSI Students’ Benevolent Fund (SBF) • 1stYouth Board Meeting (YBM)• Publication on Mastering International Valuation Standards (IVS)• Course on PMLA & AML, NBFC and CS to CEO, DPDP Act and Cyber Laws• IFSC Settlement Mechanisms- A Study with Recommendations for GIFT IFSC• Handbook on Environmental Laws• Handbook on Labour Codes• Revised Edition of Guidance Note on Prohibition of Insider Trading (PIT) • ESG Framework for Institutions• Carbon Markets: The Net Zero Navigator • Exposure Draft of Proposed Syllabus 2027• Revised Edition of ICSI Auditing Standards (CSAS 1 to CSAS 4)• Handbook on Mining Laws.
The ICSI also inked MoUs with FICCI and PaperLite, and announced a webinar series on Navigating Governance: MSME Transformation Week, Start-ups Laws and Governance Week,andAI-Powered Company Secretary: Transforming Secretarial Practice, Governance & Compliance.
Sharing his insights Inderdeep Singh Dhariwal, Additional Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General (Retd.),remarked, “The 54thNational Convention of Company Secretaries is a unique confluence where the past meets the future. With its insightfully curated sessions, it instils a strong foundational belief system that will forge next-generation leadership.”

The event is being attended byaround 1500 Company Secretaries, Professionals, Directors, Senior Government Officers, and other stakeholders. Approximately 3000 delegates areattending the event virtually.
