Bhubaneswar : Bhubaneswar- Dubai direct flight will resume soon. The flight by Indico was discontinued for nearly a year following the Middle-East conflicts.
Sources in Odisha goverenment Civil Aviation department whispered that negotiations are on with Indico and other flight operators for resuming the direct flight operation between Bhubaneswar and Dubai.
There is a serious demands from the Associations Odia Diasporas in United Arab Emirates (UAE) reintroduction of the flight which was turned to be a economically viable venture for Indigo. Dubai’s Odias Samaj President Amiya Mishra has written several letters to CM demanding restoration of the flight. World Odia Diasporas President Kishore Diwedy has also urged the CM for reintroduction of the flight.
Sources Whisper that the Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, who is leaving for a five-day visit to UAE on Tuesday is expected to annuonce the new flight operation from Bhubaneswar in Odisha to Dubai when he is going to interact with Odia diasporas of UAE at Dubai.
