Bhubaneswar: Eminent Gandians Padmashree Sabarmati, Padma Charan Nayak and Prahallad Sihna were felicitated at a special function titled ” Remembering Bapu” on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, here at Aditya Birla Group’s Gandhi Peace Centre.
Odisha Minister of Law and Works Prithviraj Harichandan, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation Mayor Ms Sulochana Das, former IAS Arun Kumar Rath and well known environmentalist SN Patro graced the event.
Prizes were distributed among school students and differently abled children who participated in various competitions held on the topic “Mahatma Gandhi and Indian Freedom Struggle”. Vice President of Aditya Birla Group Himansu Shekhar Sahoo and administrative officer of Gandhi Peace Centre Seema Nayak coordinated the event.
