Bhubaneswar: Who is the owner of Koh-i-Noor, the world’s most infamous diamond. The latest claim is that it belong to Puri Temple of Lord Jaganath. The King of Patiala Raja Ranjit Singh has reportedly pledged the precious stone with the Puri Temple. At least that is what the well known writer Kushwant Singh has written in his book.
Eminent historian and author William Dalrymple is expected to throw some light on this myth while he will deliver a lecturer, 20th series lecturer of Odisha Knowledge Hub, here at state secretariat on Saturday. The top of the lecture is Koh-i-Noor: A History of the World’s Most Infamous Diamond.
