Bhubaneswar: The Centre has recognised the Odisha government’s Single Window Portal for Investor Facilitation and tracking (GO SWIFT) initiatives and advised all the States to replicate the model to provide an environment of ease of doing business.
The union Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade(DPIIT), in an e-mail to the State indusrtires departments has advised ‘ to evaluate the Single Windwo system/ online portal (GO SWIFT) of the State of Odisha for replication/ adaptation with suitable modifications’.
GO SWIFT is first of its kind port introduced in the country. Using GO Swift, new industrial units can obtain all necessary information regarding investible projects , applicable incentives, and clearances required through an interactive tool called Info-Wizard . Further, units can select suitable industrial land on a GIS based platform.
