New Delhi: The Kapil Dev-led panel will now appoint the next Indian men’s cricket coach.
The Committee of Administrators overruled the objection of member Diana Edulji by 2-1 clearing the Kapil Dev panel of conflict of interest.
Diana was of the opinion that the matter should be referred to Ethics Officer DK Jain to decide on conflict of interest. However, the chairman Vinod Rai and other member Lt. Gen(Retd) Ravi Thodge overruled her suggestion.
The Kapil Dev headed Cricket Advisory Committee has selected the women’s coach.The other members of the Committee are Shantha Rangaswamy and Anshuman Gaekwad.
