Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Congress has constituted a committee under the convenership of its Krushak Congress chief Amiya Patnaik to study the distress sale of paddy in western Odisha.
The Odisha Pradesh Congress president, Niranjan Patnik, has announced the committee on Monday. He directed the committee to study the problem of distress sale of paddy and submit the report as early as possible.
The other members of the committee are Satyabhusan Sahoo, Samarendra Mishra, Sudhir Kumar Paricha and Gobind Mishra.
