Puri-Konark Marine Drive: The Odisha chief minister, Naveen Patnaik, inaugurated the Marine Drive Eco Retreat, a 45-day premium glamorous camping on the beaches near Ramachandi, by releasing balloons to the sky.
The Eco Retreat, which will continue till January 31, 2020, promises a unique experience of glamorous camping in 50 luxury cottages, delectable cuisine, beach spa, adventure & water sports activities, nature trails & wholesome day itineraries, cultural evenings, and a lot more.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by tourism minister, Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi, school and mass education minister Samir Dash, tourism secretary Vishal Dev and Odisha Tourism Development Corporation chairperson Srimayee Mishra. Jagatsinghpur BJD MP Rajashree Mallick and Dharmasala MLA Pranab Balwantaray were also present.
“Odisha’s MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and events) tourism quotient will surely get a golden touch with the corporate package that we are offering through Eco-Retreat. It’s an ideal corporate offsite destination with every ingredients required to make it a wholesome memorable experience. Eco Retreat will soon be recognised as the most favoured MICE product in the country”, said the tourism secretary.
