Union minister Pradhan gives a call to Odia diaspora to make Sambalpuri saree, Khorda towel, Chenapoda global brands

New Delhi: Union petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan has called upon the Odia people to make Odisha’s Sambalpuri saree, Khorda towel, Cheenapoda and Arisa Pitha global brands.

Pradhan, while addressing the Odia diaspora in Delhi, here on Sunday, said that all the Odia people should united to take Odisha’s typical Sambalpuri Saree, Khorda towel, Chenapoda, Arisa Pitha Pakhal, macha besera, ambula rai to the world.

“We have to take ourselves to the world. Then only we will get our identity in the world”, he said.

“Let us make Odisha top State in the country in the 21 century and let Odia diaspora take the lead,” the minister said.
