Cuttack: The Odisha police director general, Abhya, flagged off the issues of crime against women, cyber crime and road safety at a high level review meeting chaired by him, here on Tuesday.
The meeting was attended by all the range IG, DIG and Commissionerate of Police besides district head quarter SPs.
The meeting discussed about the crimes against women, cyber crime and road fatalities.
The DGP stressed on the role of women police officers in the field policing. He requested the senior officers to create an environment more friendly to women.
Abhay emphasized the need for training, improving prosecution system , improving the quality of investigation at the district level.
