Bhubaneswar: A tribal village in Odisha has joined the nation’s war against the Covid-19 pandemic by donating to the PM Care Fund .
The villagers of Dangapal under Jujumara of Sambalpur district pooled Rs 27,000 and donated the same to the PM Care Fund.
Hailing the gesture of the villagers who are mostly small farmers or daily wagers, union minister for petroleum and steel Dharmendra Pradhan has twitted that the resolution of this tiny tribal village will certainly strengthened the nation’s resolve to win the fight against the deadly virus.
