Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has created 73 posts for Odisha Finance Service cadre officers to keep a tab on the expenditure in the health sector.
The government has perhaps felt the need to keep a check on the expenditure in the health sector as now huge money is spend in the sector in view of the Coronavirus pandemic.
The government has created 30 accounts officers posts to be posted in the CDMO offices in the 30 districts.
Capital hospital, Bhubaneswar, RGH, Rourkela and directorates of State Institute of Health & Family Welfares, Nursing, Public Health and family welfare have got one accounts officer each. The health & family welfare department has also got an OFS officer as AFA -cum -under secretary.
The State cabinet has cleared the new 73 posts on Friday.
