Bhubaneswar: Biju Yuva Janata Dal, the youth wing of the ruling BJD in Odisha to use IT tech to reach out to the people.
This has been decided in a State level review meeting of the BJYD through video conferencing on Tuesday. The meeting reviewed the Covid-19 pandemic situation prevailed in the State and chalked out a road map for future course of action of the BYJD.
Chairing the review meeting, BYJD president Amresh Patri said that the BYJD is working for the welfare of the people during this unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic time take all inspirations from the party president and chief minister Naveen Patnaik.
He said BYJD leaders and members have worked relentlessly during this difficult time to provide food, mask, sanitiser to needy people across the State. He said despite the unfavourable time the BYJD members organised Jiban Bindu camps and collected 4000 units of blood.
The meeting was attended by BJD IT wing chief and MP Amar Patnaik as chief guest, and senior advisors Dharmasala MLA Pranab Balabantray and Chandbali MLA Byamakesh Ray as guests.
BJYD advisor Kuna Bihari Das, acting president Sanjit Mohanty and secretary general Sisir Parija attended the meeting which was coordinated by BYJD secretary and State coordinator IT wing Tarini Prasad Nayak.
