Bhubaneswar: JSW Energy has terminated the agreement with GMR for acquisition of mater’s power plant in Odisha.
Referring to the acquisition of GMR Kamalanga Energy, JSW Energy has stated in a press release, ” With the elapsing of long stop date, both parties have mutually agreed to terminate the transaction given continued uncertainty due to Covid-19 pandemic.
The company, however, said that the process of acquisition of Ind-Barath Energy (Utkal) Ltd: through the approval by National Company Law Tribunal continues to remain for the resolution plan submitted by the Company.
