Chennai: South Indian playback singer SP Balasubrahmanyam has been tested Corona positive.
The veteran singer said on Wednesday that he has been admitted to a hospital after testing positive for coronavirus. He has released a video message on his Facebook account.
Balasubrahmanyam, the 74-year-old singer has worked across Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam film industries.
He was catapulted to national music world when he recorded songs for Salman Khan in Maine Pyaar Kiya(1989) and Saajan(1999) and Hum Aapke Hai Koun”.
Balasubrahmanyam, who did his debut in 1966 with the Telugu film “Sri Sri Sri Maryada Ramanna”, has bagged multiple National Awards and recorded over 40,000 songs in 16 Indian languages.
