Bhubaneswar: On the call of prime minister Narendra Modi NTPC employees of Eastern Region 2 took pledge for whole hearted participation in ‘Jan Andolan Campaign on Covid-19’.
All the employees of Regional Headquarters in Bhubaneswar , Talcher Kaniha, Talcher Thermal, Darlipali (all in Orissa) , and Bongaigaon Project in Assam took pledge at their respective workplaces in complete adherence to Covid guidelines and protocol, adopting social distancing and avoiding mass gathering.
They further reiterated their commitment by taking the e pledge on GOI Portal. All the employees under Eastern Region 2 committed their resolve to encourage others and follow the key Covid Appropriate Behaviors like wearing the face mask properly, frequently washing hands with soap and maintaining social distancing.
The employees’ family members, CISF officials and associate agencies also took pledge to fight against Covid-19 in all NTPC projects.
NTPC ER2HQ, Bhubaneswar is also taking up the awareness campaign on Covid appropriate behavior in 10 aspirational districts of Orissa by displaying banners and distributing pamphlets. Various publicity collaterals have also been displayed in Hindi and Odia language in and around the NTPC plant of Eastern region 2, to make people aware on the various steps to protect each other from the pandemic.
Government of India has launched an intensive and focused campaign for covid- Appropriate Behaviour which emphasizes “Unlock with Precautions”. The purpose of campaign to spread the awareness, consciousness about the Covid-19 to each & every citizen of India through various means.
