Bhubaneswar: Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik Monday referred the corruption allegations against his party MLA Dr Pradeep Panigrahi to Odisha Lokayukta for investigation.
This is the first corruption allegation referred by the State government to lokayukt after its creation.
The chief minister Naveen patnaik is known for his strong action against corruption in public life and committed to provide a transparent administration to the people of odisha.
Dr.Panigrahi, Gopalpur MLA, has been arrested by the State Crime Branch police for his complexity in fraud and corruption case involving senior Indian Forest Officer Abhaya Pathak and his son Akash Pathak. The Patahk duo has been arrested in multi-crore scam.
