Rourkela: Union steel minister Faggan Singh Kulaste has arrived here on Thursday on a two day visit to the steel city. He is accompanied by Mr. H N Rai, Director (Technical, Projects & Raw Materials).
The minister was accorded a warm welcome at the airport by Rourkela Steel Plant CEO Dipak Chattaraj, ADM Aboli Sunil Naravane, DIG CISF Shikhar Sahai and SP Mukesh Kumar Bhamoo.
The Hon’ble Minister was received at Rourkela House by Mr. Pankaj Kumar, ED (Projects) with the additional charge of ED (Works), RSP and other Senior Officers.
During his two day stay the Hon’ble Minister would be visiting RMD Mines such as Taldih Mines and Barsuan Mines on the first day. On the second day of his visit, the Hon’ble Minister will visit various production units and CSR project of Rourkela Steel Plant. The Minister is also scheduled to hold high level meetings with Senior Officers both at the Mines and RSP to review the performance of various units, in addition to interaction with various employees’ unions and association.
