Bhubaneswar: As the Covid-19 spreads fast in the State, the State government has asked senior IAS officers to supervise the Covid-19 management works.
As many as 21 senior IAS officers have been given the supervision charge of the Covid-19 management in various districts.
Anu Garg and N Tirumala Naik have been given the charge of Bhubaneswar city. Madhusudan Padhi is in charge of Balasore and Bhadrak district.
The other officers who were in charge of districts are Satyabrata Sahu and Benudhar Behera (Barbara, Bolangir and Nuapada), Nikunja Bihari Dhal (Jharsuguda and Sundergarh), Surendra Kumar and Srikanta Prusty ( Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar), G Mathivathan (Ganjam & Gajapati), Hemanta Sharma and Suresh Chandra Dalei ( Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur & Jajpur), Bishnupada Sethy and Gopabandhu Satapathy ( Dhenkanal, Anugul & Deogarh), Chitra Arumugam (Sambalpur & Sonepur), Saswat Mishra and Bishnu Prasad Mishra (Kalahandi, Boudh and Kandhamal), V V Jadav and Rasid Khan ( Koraput, Rayagada, Malkangiri & Nabarangpur), Temjenwapang Ao (Gajapati), Anil Kumar Samal (Cuttack city, Cuttack rural, Puri, Nayagarh and Khurda rural ) and Susanta Mohapatra (Cuttack city & rural).
