Bhubaneswar: Odisha Red Cross Society has topped the list among the States in blood collections.
The Indian Red Cross Society is going to hand over shields for consecutively two years-2019-20 and 2020-21- to Odisha Society for collection of highest number of voluntary blood collections in the country.
The deputy secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Neel Kamal Singh, has said that the awards will announced at the next AGM of IRCS NHQ to be held in virtual mode on 17th May, 2022.. According to him the meeting shall be presided over by union health minister who is the chairman, IRCS.
