Bhubaneswar: TP Central Odisha Distribution Ltd. (TPCODL) on Tuesday announced the unveiling of ‘Quality Month – November 2022’ in an internal event which was conducted through both virtual and physical modes.
The theme of Quality Month this year is Quality Conscience adopted from Chartered Quality Institute which involves doing the right thing by focusing on opportunity to quality professionals to reflect on how corporate culture can be key to helping organisations make the right ethical decisions on behalf of all stakeholders.
During this month long celebration, various activities have been planned for employees, employees’ wards and customers to imbibe the culture of continuous improvement. Some of the internal events include competitions such as poster designing, quizzes and awareness sessions across all TPCODL offices to spread Quality Conscience of all employees. The company has also planned various customer connect sessions with Residential Welfare Associations, Industrial customers and rural customers to ensure and establish a stronger connect with TPCODL teams.
The occasion was graced by Chief Guest and Keynote speaker N Ramanathan, Quality Leader with over 53 years of experience in quality field and total quality management, M. Shenbagam-CEO TPCODL along with other senior officials and employees of the organization.
Ramanathan shared his views on the impact of low quality consciousness and importance of Quality in organisation growth & success.
The inauguration event also witnessed demonstration of 28 innovative products and process innovation by various departments of TPCODL.
“TPCODL has taken various necessary initiatives to improve reliability, network resiliency, complaint management and business processes as a whole, despite unavoidable challenges such as cyclone, vast geographical spread, etc. We have emphasized on importance of continuous improvement in our system and processes to achieve desired quality in service delivery. Activities during the month will help strengthen the quality conscience of our team,” said M Shenbagam, CEO, TPCODL.
