Bhubaneswar: Amidst controversy, the Odisha government Tuesday shifted the Angul DIG Brijes Ray IPS DIG Anugul to State Police HQrs at Cuttack.
Ray has been embroiled in a controversy as a lady home guard deployed in his house complained that she lost her two legs allegedly due tortured by the wife of DIG. The lady home guard has alleged that unable to bear the torture she tried to commit suicide by laying on railway track. But, she survived with two legs lost in the accident.
Meanwhile, the matter has been reported to the Odisha Human Rights Commission.
