Bhubaneswar: Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik has effected a major changes in top echelon in CMO.
In a surprise move he has picked up fo rmer chief secretary and chairperson Odisha Electricity Regulatory commission (OERC) Suresh Chandra Mahapatra as the new chief advisor chief minister office . Mohapatra has been releived from the post of chairperson, OERC on Friday.
Chief advisor to CMO R Balakrishnan has been relieved from his responsibility. He, however, would continue as at chief advisor, Special Initiatives in the rank of chief secretary.
Asit Tripathy, chairman, Western Odisha Development Council upon his request is allowed to relinquish his additional charges of principal advisor to CMO.
