Bhubaneswar : Odisha cadre IPS officer of 1997 batch DS Kutey has been appointed as OSD in home department following revocation of his suspension order.
Kutey, who was special secretary to chief minister when Naveen Patnaik was at the helm of affairs, was suspended amidst elections in the State following the order of the Chief Election Commission for unduely interfering in conduct of elections. Under suspension his head quarter was fixed at Odisha Residents Commission office at New Delhi. Soon after the election he was reintated pending initiation of disciplinary proceedings and has been posted as OSD in Odisha home department
