Bhubaneswar : Odisha governor Raghubar Das Monday gave a new formula -RPT- for achiving a Vikasit Odisha by 2036 when the State is going to celebrate centinary year of its formanation.
Reform, Perform and Transform to achieve a Vikasit Odisha, said Das, while delivering governor’s on the opening day of the Budget session of the Odisha Assembly, The governor dwelled on all the aspect of development agenda of the new BJP government in Odisha in his speech.
Das said the State will become a Vikasit Rajya by 2036 with all round development and propserity of every citizen.
Setting a short term goal, Das said malnutrition will be ended by 2027. During that time 25 lakh Lakhpati Didi will be created in the State by 2027. Government jobs of 65,000 would be filled up by then.
In medium term, 10 irrigation projects will be constructed in Kalahandi, Nuapada, Bargarh and Bolangir districts by 2030. Malaria will be eradicated by then.
On industrial front, he said port based manufacturing parks will come up at Paradip, Dhamra and Gopalpur ports. Industrial clusters will developed for textile and other items.
Governor said Green Industrial Policy to declared and subsidy would be given to four and wheelers Electric Vehicles.
