Bhubaneswar: Odia webseries Barang99 and Gangs of Puri from the stable of OTT major Kanncha Lannka from Odisha bagged the prestigious International Film Festival Awards. While Barang99 got the Best Webseries Award 2024, Gangs of Puri received Best Webseries Award 2023.
While Barang99 is a story of struggle of a helpless woman who entangled in a high political drama. Based on a reallife story played out in Odisha in 1990s, the webseries also received national acclaim. The webseries bagged the coveted Indian Tele Streaming Award at Mumbai, recently. The concept of the story is by eminent journalist Dilip Bisoi.
