Paradeep : ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India), as part of its CSR initiative “SAFAL’ project, distributed 124 manual spray pumps, each of 16- liter capacity, to farmers in three panchayats of Kujang Block under Jagatsinghpur district.
The pumps were distributed in the presence of Debendra Rout, Sarpanch of Nuagarh Panchayat, Tapan Behera, Ward Member, Nuagarh and team members of the SAFAL project. This intervention will directly benefit 124 farmers to efficiently apply pesticides and water their crops, thereby helping them in crop management and boosting productivity.
This initiative is aimed at promoting sustainable agriculture and enhancing livelihood opportunities for farmers across 12 villages. By providing these tools, AM/NS India reinforces its commitment to sustainable agriculture and supports the long-term economic well-being of the farming community.
