Bhubaneswar:Odisha witnessed the grand inauguration of India’s largest mining and infrastructure exhibition as the four-day 3rd Odisha Mining and Infrastructure International Expo 2025 commenced, here on Thursday. The prestigious event was inaugurated by Odisha MSME minister Gokulananda Mallik in the presence of Shri Hemant Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary, Hemant Sharma along with Swami Prem Anveshi, Managing Director, Futurex Group,and Dr Tapan Kumar Chand, Former CMD, NALCO and Chairman of Organising Committee.
Organized by Futurex Trade Fair and Events Pvt. Ltd., in collaboration with PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Skill Council of Mining Sector, and Odisha Assembly of Small and Medium Enterprises (OASME), the expo brought together leading stakeholders from mining, construction, and infrastructure industries in India and beyond.
Inaugurating the expo, Gokulananda Mallik said, “Odisha is a leader in the mining sector, excelling in bauxite, coal, iron ore, and other mineral resources, contributing significantly to the state’s revenue.

Hemant Sharma said, ” This platform is highly beneficial for the growth and development of the mining sector in Odisha. “
Swami Prem Anveshi stated that this year’s expo is witnessing strong international participation, with leading companies from Russia, Germany, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan presenting state-of-the-art technology and solutions. These global innovators are unveiling advanced equipment and services aimed at transforming mining operations and infrastructure development. The event is also drawing business delegations and buyers from across India and abroad, providing a valuable platform for Indian and international companies to connect and establish strategic partnerships.
Dr Chand mentioned that Odisha being the mining capital of India has potential to host world mining conferences. He called upon mining organisations to join hands & transform such show to global scale.
The Expo featured state-of-the-art mining machinery, technology sol utions, services, and supplies, catering to the evolving needs of the mining and infrastructure sectors. With participation from over 250 + companies, the event offered a platform to witness the latest advancements shaping the future of these industries.
