New Delhi: The three-day long cultural festival “Odisha Parba 2026” is set to take place from 13th to 15th March 2026 at Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) Stadium, New Delhi. The festival, which is being organised by Odia Samaj, a leading socio-cultural organisation based in New Delhi, is dedicated to promoting the heritage, language and traditions of Odisha.
The festival will be open to visitors daily from 11:00 AM to 9 PM.The event will be inaugurated at 5.45 pm on 13th March 2026 by Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of Education, in the presence of Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister of Tourism and Culture, and Ashish Sood, Minister of Home, Power, Urban Development, Education, Higher Education, Training & Technical Education, Govt. of Delhi.
Internationally acclaimed sculptor Padma Vibhushan Sudarshan Sahoo will also showcase his works during the festival.
Odisha Parba is a grand celebration that brings together the vibrant traditions, cuisine, crafts and cultural expressions of Odisha. The event will witness the participation of Odias and aficionados of Odisha from across India and around the world.Visitors can embark on a rich gastronomic journey at the Food Arena featuring iconic brands like Kataka Dahibada and Jagannath Mahaprasad, while exploring an extensive pavilion of world-renowned handlooms, Pattachitra, and silver filigree.
The festival will unfold with spectacular classical, folk, and tribal performances—including Chhau, Bagha Nacha, and Sambalpuri dance—alongside the “Pratibha Utsava” talent hunt and recreations of traditional festivals like Raja and Nuakhai.
A series of seminars titled “Talk Today, Transform Tomorrow” will also bring together thought leaders to discuss Odisha’s journey toward a self-reliant and innovative future.
