Bhubaneswar : Odisha CM became angry over the Bhubaneswar -Balianta mob lynching incident where in a railway police constable was beaten to death by a mob over an alleged molestation case.
Presiding over a high-level review meeting on law and order situation, here on Saturday, the Chief Minister expressed his displeasure over the mob lynching incident and cautioned the Police DGP that such incident should not happened in the State.
The CM has directed the Crime Branch Police to investigate the matter and take stringient action action against those involved in this case.
CM’s advisor Prakash Mishra, a retired DGP, Chief Secretary Ms. Anu Garg, Additional Chief Secretary Home, Hemant Sharma, Police DGP YB Khurania, Additional Chief Secretary to CM, Saswat Mishra, Special Branch Director RP Koche, ADG Law & Order Sanjay Kumar, ADG Crime Branch Binoytosh Mishra, Police Commissioner S. Debdutt Singh and DCP Jagmohan Meena were present in the review meeting.
